Real things. Real mess. Real growth.
Mud kitchens, digging patches, water play, loose natural materials. The kind of play that looks unstructured but is actually where the deepest learning happens. We lean into the mess on purpose.
Little Grove is where kids get genuinely absorbed in open-ended play — and caregivers get to be present without running the show. An indoor + outdoor play center and coffee bar in Erie, Colorado.
"We built Little Grove for the moment you walk in, watch your child run off without looking back, and realize — this is exactly what they needed. Grab a coffee, find a seat, and relax. You've earned it."

Yes — we actively want to partner with Erie community organizations, playgroups, homeschool co-ops, and local businesses. Reach out at hello@littlegroveErie.com to tell us about your idea.
Little Grove started with something every Erie parent knows — the joy of watching your child completely absorbed in something, not needing you for a moment. We built a whole place around that feeling. Somewhere kids can lead their own play, and caregivers can be present, connected, and actually enjoy it.
We believe the best children's spaces aren't built for children — they're built with families. That's why founding members shape our programming, our community norms, and what happens in this space long-term.
Little Grove is committed to genuine open-ended play, and designed to keep Erie families connected — through local roaster coffee, community events, and a space that feels like home.
We'll notify our list first when we announce our location, open founding member bookings, and share build progress. No spam — just the good stuff, when it matters.
Not a chain. Not a franchise. A neighborhood spot built with the families of Erie, Colorado — and shaped by them every day it's open.
Erie doesn't need another play space. It needs a third place — somewhere between home and school where families connect, children build friendships, and caregivers find their people.
Little Grove is for every family in Erie — regardless of background, structure, or circumstance. Adults always get in free. We'll never turn a family away for inability to pay during our community hours.
We don't dress up play as learning — we trust that genuine, unstructured play is the most valuable thing a child can do. Our spaces are built to maximize it, not manage it.
Our coffee comes from a Colorado roaster. Our workshops feature Erie-based educators and local talent. Every dollar spent at Little Grove is designed to stay in our community wherever possible.
We don't have a schedule to get through. No rush. No timer. Little Grove is one of the few places where lingering is the whole point — for kids and for the adults with them.
Our programming has no scripts. Children direct their own play. Adults facilitate, not instruct. We trust kids to know what they need — and make space for it to happen naturally.
Founding members don't just get a discount — they get a seat at the table. Programming suggestions, community norms, event ideas — your input actively shapes what Little Grove becomes.
