Real things. Real mess. Real growth.
Mud kitchens, digging patches, water play, loose natural materials. The kind of play that looks unstructured but is actually where the deepest learning happens. We lean into the mess on purpose.
Little Grove is where kids get absorbed in open-ended play — and caregivers get to be present without running the show. An indoor + outdoor play center and coffee bar in Erie, Colorado.

Comfortable seating, great coffee, and a room full of families in the same stage of life. Little Grove is as much for you as it is for your kids.
Rotating themed programming means no two months are the same. From Dino Digs to Winter Wonderland, there's always a reason to come back — and kids always have something to look forward to.

Layers of play for every age and a place for parents to relax regardless of the season.
Fresh-air and outdoor exploration in a 2,000 sq ft enclosed and shaded space — for peace of mind.

Not a chain. Not a franchise. A neighborhood spot built with and for the families of Erie — and shaped by them every day it's open.
Erie doesn't need another play space. It needs a third place — somewhere between home and school where families connect, children build friendships, and caregivers find their people.
Little Grove is for every family in Erie. Adults always get in free. We'll never turn a family away for inability to pay during our community hours.
We trust that genuine, unstructured play is the most valuable thing a child can do. Our spaces are built to maximize it, not manage it.
Our coffee comes from a Colorado roaster. Our workshops feature Erie-based educators and local talent. Every dollar at Little Grove is designed to stay in our community.
No schedule to get through. No timer. Little Grove is one of the few places where lingering is the whole point — for kids and the adults with them.
Little Grove members are Erie parents with children ages 0–7 — a highly engaged, family-first demographic that makes purchasing decisions based on community trust and peer recommendations. A partnership puts your business where the recommendation happens.
We'd love to meet Erie businesses who serve families. Reach out and Kelsey will be in touch within 24 hours.
From slow weekday mornings to nature play sessions and seasonal community celebrations — Little Grove's calendar is built around bringing Erie families together.
Meet the Little Grove team, tour the space, and connect with other founding families before we officially open. Light snacks and coffee provided.
Plant your family's raised bed for the season. Soil, seeds, and plant starts provided. Kids get their hands in the dirt, caregivers get coffee and conversation.
Children explore color, texture, and form using natural materials — leaves, stones, flowers, and bark. A guided but open-ended session with a local nature educator.
A weekly tradition. Drop-in play for the kids, intentional unscheduled time for the grown-ups. Specialty coffee, comfortable seating, no agenda.
A local nature educator leads children through the outdoor space to discover insects, plants, and living things. Kids get hands-on with magnifying glasses and field journals.
Designed for babies and toddlers (0–3) and their caregivers. Guided sensory exploration with natural materials. Build connections with other Erie families in the same stage of life.
Bring gently used kids' books, clothes, toys, and equipment. Swap freely. What doesn't go home gets donated to local families in need. Pop-up coffee bar included.
A local children's music educator brings instruments and rhythm outdoors. Kids move, sing, and play together in the garden — joyful, unscripted, and energizing.
Every other Saturday, member families gather outdoors together. A gentle recurring ritual — exploring the outdoor space, letting kids lead, and giving parents a chance to actually connect.
Some of our best community moments happen not at special events, but in the rhythms of the week. These recurring programs are free with admission and open to all families.
9–11am. Unstructured. No agenda. Kids play, caregivers have coffee. The anchor of the week for many Erie families.
10–11:30am. Caregiver-accompanied sensory and making projects for toddlers. Paint, glue, natural materials, mess.
10:30am. Nature-themed stories, followed by sensory play connected to the theme. Ages infant–5.
3:30–5:30pm. After-school drop-in play time — indoor and outdoor zones fully open, with light facilitation for older kids who want more activity.
9–11am. The weekend version of Slow Morning. Lightly structured conversation topics for caregivers who want to connect — or just sit quietly with good coffee.
9–10:30am. Member families tend the community garden together. Open to members and their guests.
